Discipleship Roadmap

Welcome to the Discipleship Roadmap, a project designed to help Christians measure and track their spiritual growth. This project is based on certain assumptions:

To be a follower of Jesus means to learn to be like him(Matthew 11:28-30)
Becoming like Jesus should show measurable results(II Peter 1:5-9)
The goal of the Christian life is transformation into Christ’s likeness(II Corinthians 3:17-18)
God provides the means for this growth(Philippians 2:12-13)

This program is meant to be an encouragement to Christians as they take on the yoke of Jesus. Our goal is to help you see where God has been working in your life and spur you on to further growth. To that end, we suggest that you take this inventory at regular intervals(every six months or every year) so that you can track God’s work in you.

As an inventory specifically focused on growing in the way of Jesus we have taken his Great Commandments(Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and Love your neighbor as yourself) and his Great Commission(Go into all the world baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) as our guides. The inventory focuses on each of these elements separately in order to provide you with a cumulative picture of your spiritual health.

This program is currently in its testing phase, so we encourage any and all feedback to the process. Thank you for your assistance in this project!
